Aboriginal Skills Employment & Training Strategy (ASETS):
ASETS is a Contribution Agreement between Human Resources Development Canada and Community Futures Treaty Seven (CFT7).
Mission Statement
“CFT7 ASETS supports all First Nation Individuals to obtain and maintain meaningful employment based on community needs through the provision of training in the Treaty Seven Territory.”
As the ASETS holder for Treaty Seven, CFT7 provides Employment Related Programs and Services in the following areas:
1. General Labour Market
2. Youth Labour Market
3. Persons with Disabilities
4. Child Care
Off-Reserve (Urban) Labour Market Development
CFT7 has established four Aboriginal Employment Centres. The centres are the first point of contact for accessing programs and services.
We service all aboriginal people who reside in or around one of our urban locations.
